Hello (Hálo, Dia dhuit), welcome (fáilte)! My name is William Roberson O'Brien ( Is é mo ainm Liam Ó Briain MacDhonnachaidh). I am an O'Brien through my Ma. I am married to my beautiful wife, Amanda and we have a beautiful daughter named Elizabeth Christine. I have three sisters Tiffany, Emma, Shannon and a brother Thomas. My mother is Kathleen Ann O'Brien and my Grandpap is Philip O'Brien son of James Francis O'Brien, who in turn was son of another William O'Brien. It's kind of funny how names repeat in our Clan isn't it? I have an A.A. Degree in biology, though my original major was horticulture. I have always had an interest in history, agriculture and languages. I have grown many traditional and non traditional plants (both culinary and medicinal), as well as raised ducks and chickens. My favorite mammals are Cattle, go a head and laugh you know you want to. I blame that on my (our) ancestors, after all most were pastoralists. Any way to the point, this blog will be a combination of things a bit of history, a bit of agriculture and a bit of cooking. I will gladly take suggestions on species, breeds, cultivars of Irish origin (or possibly other Celtic peoples) that fellow clansmen and clanswomen would like to know about. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
